Meet the Owner

We are Tami & Daniel Halliman. We have been married for 26 years. We enjoy riding horses, reading, and time spent together. Daniel enjoys training horses and Indian crafts while Tami enjoys Creative Memories. We both share a love of John Eldredge as our favorite author and believe like John, our true heart desires are a longing for more of God and a relationship with His Son, Jesus.

Tami runs the tearoom and Daniel works at the Equestrian Center on the Biltmore Estate. On his days off he is also helping in the tearoom.

We have 4 beautiful daughters and 2 great sons-in-law. Amber, our oldest lives in Nashville, TN. Erin lives in Los Angeles, CA, with her husband, Trey. Ashlee lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Paul. And Erica also lives in Brooklyn. They are greatly missed!

We both feel life is just too busy. We long for the tearoom to be a place where people just slow down and be. A place to enjoy great friendships, happy family times, a catching up place with those you love, while enjoying great tea and great food. We are all looking for a place to belong and connect and to collect out thoughts. We pray people find that at Kathleen’s.
